Thread: OKW v Soviet - Please help me figure out where I went wrong8 Sep 2014, 01:09 AM
Keep your units alive. upgrade ur volks with shreck asap. if you keep ur volks alive and they vet up with 4 squads of vet volks late game you have a very capable AT capability. I don't usually go puma vs soviet's tier 2. flak HT or (Luchs for nearly the same price) are deadly counters to shock, just use them carefully from distance to avoid at nade or ZiS. if you can afford obers are the deadly inf, use them correctly to show ur opponent who has a better inf . get ur panther or KT out asap, depends on the game flow. I usually go fortification doctrine vs tier 2 soviet, but normally I think Wehr can easier win vs soviet in general In: Replays |

KT once it used correctly, and if you keep it alive so it vets up, it will be practically unbeatable. It wipes out ZiS with one shoot In: Replays |
Thread: Maxim spam; how to deal with29 Aug 2014, 13:39 PM
I got doubled with two soviet players' maxim spams in the southern victory point of the map. This replay shows how I dealt with them. 1. I used kubelwagen to delay them arriving to the front line 2. I brought the Battlegruppe close to the front line to use the heal the units and activating the retreat point; many choose this tier to get the Infantry Support Gun asap, however in large maps like this activating the retreat point on the front line is a huge advantage, specially when snow slows your troops down to arrive from the base. 3. flanking the maxims with 3 squads of Sturmpioniere, while being prepared for their arriving armor In: Replays |

Thread: Any (good) use of the Jagdtiger ?22 Aug 2014, 06:46 AM
If you use it effectively, it is such a game changer. It's not Elefant or mobile pak43. Indeed it carries pak44, and is the strongest AT weapon of any sort in the game. you just have to keep it in the back and use it as a sniper and it wipes out any armor. Obviously, it's better to be used in team games when the opponents go for mass/heavy armor. Check this replay: http://www.coh2.org/replay/22653/combined-forces%26-well-supported-jagdtiger-changed-the-battle the soviet heavy tanks were pushing in numbers but you can see how the battle changed as soon as the mighty Jagdtiger hit the field. by the way, its extreme long range and the fact that it shoots through the building makes it quite unique. Have one jadgtiger in the field and support it in a team game, then you don't have to worry about the enemy armor (as long as you don't let the opponent to flank it). In: OKW Strategies |

Check this out then! http://www.coh2.org/replay/22653/combined-forces%26-well-supported-jagdtiger-changed-the-battle Just ran into what I think is a actual clan. They took my winning spree too, but hey, I felt it was a pretty solid game for me. Good game opponents, except for that last guy who said we sucked, he can go sit in a corner. In: Replays |

This replay shows how combined forces and support can take you to the victory in a heavy battle. In: Replays |
