best solution i think:
1. move schreck to sturmpios
2. Buff raketen
3. (optional) give Volks some kinda automatic weapons package or panzerfaust |
Where do these theories get hatched? This thread is the best knee slapper of my morning
If axis players are going to complain about fuel, that's one massive glass house their living in.
Case and point the mega synergy of the current fuel buffers for axis.
In a team game the OKW player can set up his conversion SWS first then put his flak SWS down on the fuel point for the Wher player to use the fuel/muni drop in a well defended pocket. On maps like Semois 2.0 this is extremely easy to execute. Now the allied options, the lend lease fuel drop always enters the board over the axis base sector and especially if there is an OKW in the match it rarely makes the drop. When the Wher fuel drop was designed it was based on the premise that you could go and fight the player for the crates due to the duration of the ability, with OKW on the scene It's in need of a rework such as the same treatment as lend lease, spawning the planes over allied base sectors. For a game that is moving fast into the timeline of the Falaise pocket ordeal, the last thing I would call the Axis is fuel starved or the soviets/USA fuel rich.
This has been a mobile message of lulz and neutrality brought to you by,

yes i have noticed that the lend lease supply drop flies fro the opposite side of the map. You better pray hard that the plane isn't going to get shot down. Meanwhile... Axis can get the supplies pretty safely, considering that the Soviet halftrack is locked in tier 3, not sure about USF, but Puma can wreck the M15 |
There is only one dedicated hardcounter that resides at the top of a single doctrine (and is itself hardcounterable by almost any offmap strike). For this hardcounter to oneshot, the JT must be stationary and its position known, and the b4 has to have veterancy, and a damage-boosting ability should be used, and the OKW player should not consider maneuvering it, and...
Yes, CoH2 is built around unit preservation. Yes, oneshotting supertanks is contrary to gameplay principles and ultimately toxic. But JT has enough advantages as it stands. For players to continue to benefit from these advantages while simultaneously consider the only threat to it to be overpowered and unfair - well, that seems just a bit hypocritical to me.
The hardcounter is as overpowered as the unit it hardcounters.
Nerf the JT and you can nerf the B4 vet3. No sooner.
Exactly. The B4 is only going to inflict heavy damage to those heavy tanks if only certain factors are met like the one you mentioned. The b4 doesn't magically one-shot anything once it appears on the field.
Units shouldn't be discussed in a vacuum like this. If we solely nerf the B4 vet 3, then Kts and Jts are going to run around without fear of punishment |
If the B4 gets nerfed the whole Counter Attack commander will never see daylight again.
Those of you who cry for a nerf, how do you suggest Allies to effectively counter Jagdtigers in the future? The B4 is already hard countered by any Ostheer player with a Stuka commander.
If the B4 gets nerfed the Axis won't have to have an Ostheer player prepared to get a commander with Stuka Bombing Strike = more Tigers. IMO a nerf to this unit will be the last nail in the coffin for Allied 3v3 + 4v4 play. |
Great post.
Hopefully we will see more player joining clans - which is a prerequisite to better 4v4 allies play.
hopefully they will balance towards some of the 3v3 and 4v4 crowd. It is tough being an Allied player there |
they have full time teams and other things. what those full time teams do and those other things are, not many people know. this has been an issue since at least dow2 ret (when i started noticing it) and probably longer because i didn't play relic games online until dow2: cr.
Ya that is a problem. I bet most of their work is hidden behind some NDA, like Napalm said |
Panzerwerfer is pretty good imo. I would love the Katyusha to deliver all of its rockets at once like the Werfer. Problem is that the Panzerwerfer is in T4 and comes out pretty late. You probably wanna save for a Panther by that time or another tank |
You act like everytime it fires its going to hit a JT (or something).
Have you ever used the unit before? |
u fuckin troll! execute this traitor!!! |
Hi, i am not a game developer so please forgive me if my criticism is unfounded.
I am wondering if Relic has teams that focus on specific issues regardless of whatever major project is in the works (like Ardennes Assault). I feel that most of the manpower has been diverted into creating Ardennes Assault and to fix whatever is broken after its release. I realize this is normal and should be done as protocol, but I do hope there is some members left behind to fix on the vanilla game or WFA.
Now i know there are patches that happen in a monthly basis. The last major one was very good and a good step in the right direction. I am wondering how many more of these patches we will get in the future, or is it just once in a blue moon type of deal. I am very disappointed and annoyed that many things that the players have wanted (but i know u can't fix all of them at once), and things that Relic seem to be hinting at changing, are left unfinished. It is either these issues aren't being dealt with at all, or hidden behind an NDA. Some examples:
From the players:
1. SU76 changes (minor in terms of other things, but the fact that it hasn't been looked into for who knows when is disturbing)
2. Maps (some maps are known to be imbalanced)
Things that Relic clearly said were going to be changed or hinted at:
1. War spoils (this fundamentally is the same. Relic has added more war spoils and adjusted some rates, but no changes to how they are earned and what to deal with duplicate items)
2. JT and ISU (Somewhat recently discussed in the live beta, but seems to be put i the back burner)
3. Changes to Soviet and Ostheer (Relic put a big thread on the official forums for people to voice their opinions, but barely any response on what will be done)
Relic has also mentioned gameplay changes are coming in the next several months and not balance changes, so it i think most big improvements will come next year. I am getting to a point where i have little faith that Relic will "wow" us anytime soon.
Let me know what you guys think about all this |
