How many things in CoH2 do make sense?
Obers, volks having schrecks, teching costs compared to call-ins... the list goes on
I think KV-1 in T4 would make sense, not like this game is historically very accurate anyways.
And the t34/76 (well, the gun) wasnt? As well as the su-85... Besides, its a game and it has a role.
Regardless, adding or removing with a "should" simply doesnt happen with Relic. More commanders/content with the kv-1 is a possibility.
youre right. i mean if it is nondoctrinal or appears more in commanders i would still be okay with it. more variety and options are always a good thing. You know im that "authenticity" guy though

I dont think it should be nondoctrinal. Wouldnt really make sense as it was probably obsolete by 1944 |

The KV1 is good for tanking damage and punishing Ostheer for Panzer IV spam, but it could still use a buff to it's ROF and speed/acceleration.
the cannon becomes a machine gun at vet 3 lol. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM. Fires like every 3 seconds |
Cuz its not fair what happens right now. yu get sync hacked ----> my entire team gets loss and im sure there are various levels of trust rating (although would probably be super wonky). |
Wait, you think they'd give a win to one member of an arranged team and a loss to another?
srry i misread your statements. what if theres a sync error and it has to go to the trust rating to determine a winner and lets say you are playing on a 2 player. One player has good trust rating and one player has bad. What happens? |
No the zooka simply lacks targets. it excels against vehicles and medium tanks. while you see some medium vehicle currently the okw elite armor doctrine is piss poor and ostheer tier 3 is in shambles. neither handeld weapon performs well against the heavy tanks
what you say is true. there is a matchup issue. Medium tanks play a bigger role for USF and Sov while OKW and Ostheer (especially OKW) go for the heavier tanks. THis is why i feel schrecks are a bigger problem for Allied players. |
It's actually entirely true. The stated result of the game gives absolutely zero information about what happened to other players when the crash/disconnect occurred, and when the server is unable to assign a win it arbitrates using the trust system. That is 100% of the information I gave in the post you quoted, and it's 100% accurate.
The only thing that gives any information is disputes. If you get a dispute, it means the server was unable to attribute the win to a team within its programmed ruleset. This means if a crash or disconnect occurred, it occurred for everyone; if it didn't occur for everyone, the server would assign the win to the team still connected, and an arbitrated dispute would be unnecessary.
Instigating a server or mass-client crash in a game like CoH2, while extremely unlikely and undoubtedly extremely difficult, is possible in theory. Instigating crashes only on select clients in a game where every client is running identical copies of the game code, however, is for all intents and purposes impossible.
fair enough on the disputes, but i always paly arranged team, and my teammates say hey get losses as well. |
Doesn't mean anything. If everyone crashes, the game uses the trust system to determine the winner. If you have a higher trust rating than your opponent, you'll get the win; if you don't, you won't.
not neccessarily true. i hardly leave games and get defeats every time it occurs. teammates also get the defeat as well. |
YOURE A DYING BREED! HAHAHAH. |
