Dunno why people don´t want to add a timer or better tracer like any other grenade. Or just remove the timer for all grenades because as far as I see, all grenades have an enough long animation. |
Before adding new stuff old stuff should be fixed. Thompsons crews, m3, recon paratroopers, forward observation, ability to lay sandbags, all this stuff which were useless since release need to be redone/seriously buffed.
Than lieutenant cost should be reduced.
Than rifles vet bonuses adjusted.
Than weapons crews should be 5man/without bonus acc received.
Than major artillery made useful.
And only after all of that Relic should consider adding new things to USF.
Pretty much that, but I would not refuse a new commander with a Pershing or calliope aside
The same people on this forum are always jumping in that kind of thread to deny the idea of USF having heavy tanks. Incredibly they are well know to be Axis Fanboys in their vast majority.
The meta have change a lot since couple of weeks, the USF early faction vs Axis late game meta isn´t anymore. If all factions should have the tools to perform equal at all stages of the game, then USF needs late game options. |
If it was agains t70 or quad. It still remain the Same - it screw belence agains usf becauee it was untested.
What's funny is we don't know if the t70 is that much OP in this current state and if 221 can counter it well since the quad is better. |

This is thinking of every fanboy but they hide it behind ADAPT , L2P , use pak , use bugged teller faust it . usa puma at 5 Cp etc etc etc.
Another indicator of its OPity : they buffed scout car to upgunned to be able to fight agains it e masse, and this buff completely kill USF lihtenaunt becuse 2 scout cars can defeat flaktruck (usf) and 1 can deal with m20 (m20 cost more , also flak cost more)
So they just overbuffed one balanced unit to match OP unit , but forgot USF whitch can now go only captain nothing else.
This is not true at all in fact.
They buffed the 221 because the forum here and official were full of "OMG Ostheer has nothing to deal with the T70" "T70 rush everywhere blablabla..." to end with m5 quad rush being even better.
What will remain is: Or tomorrow Relic proposes a quick fix for the M5 or in a month with the Brit release and Ostheer will keep is 221 overbuffed vs USF. And USF can wait a month or even more to be patched. |
the 222 change wasn't tested properly, yes. It was added for fear that the USF would dominate the Ost with stuarts.
Given the almost identical cost between the captain and the LT, the m20 becoming obsolete was inevitable. There's just no competition between a heavy scout vehicle and a light tank.
Relic didn't fear at all the changes for Ostheer would make the faction dominating USF early game but still is able to proactively boost Ostheer mid game because you know maybe USF could have a windows to dominate in return for some time. While the faction remains the best end game faction with best stock tanks and possible call-in.
It is amazing that they implemented all changes from the alpha excepted USF's ones. And now they are acknowledging the situation is broken. Just have to wait 1 or 4 months. |
For wiping 1 squad with a Scott, how many time do it miss its target before? I have seen countless of players rushing a position defended by a Scott, having lucky miss until finally the scott wipe the squad at the 4th/5th shot.
People tend to only count when it wipes, but never when it misses before the wipe. |
Isn't the 222 buff simply too much vs USF (not talking about Sov).
-1_ Sniper still have his incredibly RoF. As USF unless a lucking flank you are most likely going to hurt him a bit only.
-2_ 222 doesn't cost anymore ammo for its upgrade. the time to get the 5 more fuel is lower than the time to upgrade the 221 to 222. So the only difference is in the ammo cost + faster on the field = lowest m20 dominance on the field.
-3_ instead of saving your ammo for an early 222, you can safely build a medic bunker really fast early game.
-4_ Sniper has now access to a faster healing bunker + a stronger and faster 222 to cover him from m20.
-5_ You can replace the medic bunker by faust if you don't need it that early.
I'm planing to play Ostheer this next patch and this is clearly the idea I have in mind for a BO vs USF. |
With the new patch Ostheer is going to have a really solid early game, so giving room to SU and US in mid game to use their medium tanks doesn't sound incredible to me, Ostheer still have T4 panther to dominate them + potential Tiger in the long run while a Sov player or a US players will have nothing more powerful than T34-85/Ez8 if they choose those doctrines.
OKW is the faction that can build fast shreck + raken and in its T1 has the medium tank best hardcounter unit: jpz4.
Not saying the patch will not show some balance issues in the long run but so far with what we have here, nothing sound wrong. |

OKW tech costs are cheaper than all other factions, however probably to counter the fact that their tanks are alot more expencive. The cost of the new P4 in their tech tree may be a deciding factor to the outcome of this.
USF are the second cheapest. However their vehicles are not as expensive as OKW and an issue here would be the arrival of US tanks too early. (OKW at least have timers on their trucks).
Soviet, Pretty happy with these costs. Its nice that finally they will have to build T3 rather than rushing out a Katyusha within 12 mins.
Wehrmacht... Now this here is probably the issue. 310 fuel is ALOT higher than any of the other factions, and Wehrmacht cannot realistically skip a teir in a close game (1v1 or 2v2) Unlike the soviets or USF or OKW. I fail to see the point of decreasing the Battle phase costs by 5, to increase building costs by 50...
Meaning they are nearly 100 fuel more expensive to tech than any other faction.

lul what a biais assumption. If Werhmarch wants to skip building and rush T4, they only need to pay for their tier upgrades, not their T1,T2 or T3.
Not realistic? but it is the true. Because seriously assuming USF can rush T4 without BARs or ambulance is absolutely not realistic as well and it doesn't bother you to set it as a valid rush method. |
just asking as a noob.....but, why flanking is not an option? you don´t even need smoke as you may need while flanking a machinegun....more than than, no other sandbag will protect the flanked sandbag as it will happen when flanking a machinegun with other one covering the flanked one...
Lol Flanking, looking at how any Axis player in the thread just dodge your post, I can tell you flanking isn't an option for Axis, its too complicated. If they can't go straight in with a blob and win, this mean the Allied stuff opposed to them is OP. |
