Thread: Secret Tournament (28th March 5pm GMT) 28 Mar 2016, 10:18 AM Hey guys, Today I am running a little test for what will be a small monthly tournament in the future. Although I can't say too much about what all of this is and the people involved, we are very luckily able to giveaway some hardware prizes today for players and community members. In the future, prizes awarded to the players will be up for grabs to the community depending on the teams performance, but you will find out more about this new format soon. As for today, i've arranged to have two great 2v2 teams play against each other on some 2v2 maps outside of the automatch pool. I hope you'll join me for a look at some of the maps less seen in the community and a little bit of a discussion about some of the things happening when ESL Season 1 is over UPDATE If you would like to have a chance of winning the hardware you will need to be on my stream as the show starts to place your bets In: Lobby

Yes or No ?27 Mar 2016, 21:48 PM Noggano apologised to me after this happened My opinion is that they are both finalists in the monthly, they were just trying to have a weird stupid game because it didn't matter to them. They played a long day and probably couldn't be bothered. You'll notice that Luvnest didn't even play as he's already secured in. It was their choice and fortunately we were able to cast Hans vs DevM. It is a shame to not cast a good finals but that was the luck of the tournament. If you want them to publicly apologise you should request that and I'm sure they would. I don't think that strict action is needed though. I hope everyone wasn't too blasted about it. Also I want to play in random ladder, not AT one and not vs pre-made teams. You will still play against arranged teams in Random Search. You just wont have AT of your own. Thread: Ragequitters in ranked21 Mar 2016, 13:21 PM When you play the game and come across someone you play well with. Send them a friend request after the game. Playing with randoms can be horrible sometimes, so find yourself a friend to play with who you have seen is a good player too. Relic shouldn't have to create a blacklist function when you can easily invite a buddy you know well and formulate a competitive team together. In: Lobby

Thread: Royal Artillery + Sexton Balance17 Mar 2016, 12:30 PM With regards to the Sexton Artilley... go and test this thing on Vet3! Because I kid you not, it has NO reload time. Hard to get there though I really like this doctrine because I use my fuel to quick tech up to 2 tiers ASAP to utilize artillery early on. Anvil Tactics for airburst rounds really help if you're trying to take on OKW defense areas (Battlegruppe etc). The nice thing is that whilst your spending fuel on this quick tech you have the off map valentine which although isn't insanely strong, it's still more than good enough to hold it's own against inf and most mediums with good micro. I think the valentine perfectly fills that void though whilst your quick teching to still field a tank if you need something quick. It's not as useful as the other commanders competitively but I certainly have a soft spot for this In: COH2 Balance
Thread: What the heck is going on with AA single player campaign?17 Mar 2016, 10:29 AM It's not a bug no. Mark target doesn't affect penetration. It just means that any penetrating shots do more damage. As there is no side armor on tanks, just a line in the middle to divide front and back, it looks like each shot failed to penetrate front armor. Incredible display of RNG but of course the 85's weren't particularly well micro'd. This kind of thing rarely happens but 'can' happen. So glad I got it whilst casting haha In: Campaign & Co-op

This made me laugh... you really don't get it? Can I ask if the shots were bounces or was it actually penetrating the jp4? As you probably know all these tanks have armor ratings and so on. It's possible that the shells weren't penetrating the jp4 due to higher armor value etc. Maybe you were hitting it from the front where this is most likely to occur? You should be able to tell by the sound made when the shells hit. If it's 10 bounces on the armor you should try hitting the back or side of the tank. If that still doesn't work then it's a possible bug In: Campaign & Co-op
