It's a huge bitch to deal with on Road to Kharkov, where the buildings are surrounded by green cover and it is pretty close to both cutoffs. |

Neither, to do well in the game you need to have co-ordination in your squad/team. The campaign is shit, it's not worth playing. Look on the forums for some guides, especially for squad structure. I suggest you make some friends to play with you or join a clan, otherwise you are missing out on where the game shines, squad based tactics. |

Everything Relic does just seems rushed, and it hurts them in the long run when they have to go back and fix these issues. The launch was missing some critical features like observer mode and especially target tables, which is really making balance difficult now that there are 4 factions. Hell, even when WFA was coming out they overhauled the OKW 4 days before release. It just seems Relic doesn't have the manpower to work on everything that a game of this size requires in a timely manner. |
What if the sight range on all MGs was reduced (by say, 50%) when they were set up, except in their cone of fire? Similar to the ability on the American AT gun, but always active when they are set up to fire. This would force MGs to play a more supportive role by making it more painful to be approached from behind with a good flank. Maxim retreat would probably need to be fixed for this to work well. |
