I just played a game against guards and Tank Hunter doctrine.
Guards do a lot more dps than before, which is fine, I don't really care, but cons are absolutely retarded.
3 squads advanced on the field and one shotted my vet 3 support gun. By that I mean they one shotted the gun, not the crew, and it was at 100% health too.
If they can do that to an ISG it means they can do the same to AT guns, howitzers, Pak 43s, and mortars I guess ? I'm not sure if it's a good thing to have in the game:/
This is why relic needs to bite the bullet and actually add target tables. |
I wonder what Axis players will cry about next.
Tank crews OP. |
I am going to hope some other team developed this and not relic. I would try it in an arcade if I saw it, but seriously who the hell thought of this idea?
Fuck I forgot it was April fools day again. |
They moved the south spawn on Road to Kharkov (1v1) closer to the cutoff instead of being jammed in the corner of the map. |
Glad that volks don't get that reload buff.
Those Jackson AP rounds though....
I think 1v1 also got an extra veto. |
120mm still good?
Yes it doesn't feel much different. Still a big ass explosion that will wreck a squad if they get hit. |
The MG42 should also be vetting up much faster now that it is doing more damage. |
The KT's maximum movement speed without engine damage is only .8 faster than a infantry unit. With engine damage it's the slowest object in the game that isn't a building.
What about a jackson with heavy engine damage |
All together a good patch. I would have preferred to see some changes to teching or more to be done against blobbing, but oh well.
Guards look like they will be pretty awesome coming out of this patch, will love to try them out.
I see a problem with how they gave a reload decrease and cooldown decrease to Volks at vet 5. That reload decrease will make schrecks much more dangerous than the accuracy reduction tried to offset, I hope the revert that.
Maybe there will be some interesting ninja changes too. |
still, quite disappointed in the ptrs changes. it is a shitty AT rifle but it has its uses with light armour and was never regarded to be used towards heavies, even with an accuracy boost.
what this unit needs is really ptrs holsters and extra 2x mosin for ptrs models. then it will be perfect, decent infantry dps and a great nade, excellent unit in cover, limited effectiveness against armour
The PTRS is actually very good now, about double what the guards mosins are doing in dps at close range. |
