Thread: USF on life support22 Jun 2020, 18:12 PM Just going to do my quick run down of each unit, granted this in current meta with me mostly playing 2s and 4s with only a few in-house 1v1s with friends. Let me know how you feel or if you agree or disagree, would love to hear how the community feels. The USF mainline 5th man dies within seconds of engagement, needs some sort of late game MP adjustment maybe (comparing to volks for cost effectiveness). RE are a MP sink with little if any DPS, really RNG heavy to get good damage. Pretty sure combat engs/pios are more reliable in terms of damage output. Pak howi is in a good spot if kept with current meta, recharge might be to fast on barrage. USF mortar is buggy (smoke bug) barrage is rly inaccurate, hits everywhere but the inner 50% of the visual circle. M20 is in a good spot in terms of performance, might be cool to see it a bit earlier. Sturt has no place in meta with fuel cost, AI sucks, needs a role. .50 cal is in a good spot for cost but AP shells might need more damage (see mg42 AP round damage/ROF) Major can come late, cost to keep USF in mid game (light vehicles) leads to timing for a Sherman to be late, match up vs p4 on paper is fair but due to delay can often mean 1 Sherman vs 2 p4s Sherman needs more AP to hold in longer games (someone suggested HVAP shells, maybe an upgrade). Jackson is good, MP price seems a bit to high 20~40MP cost reduction might work. Pershing CP count needs to come down by a cp or two. Assault Engs are good in DPS department, 5th man helps but with current meta ~~ass~~salt grens can be a toss up in engagements. Stuff that is in a good spot: Airborne are fine Rangers are fine CaliOP is in a good spot Scott is fine for price. Changes to Weapons Rack + Nade Tech cost are good In my opinion USF feels like the worst out of the 3 with being REALLY underwhelming in large matches for the cost that you pay vs its performance. Bleed manpower like crazy, sure it's infantry is good close range but does it rly deserve the high cost that it currently has for its mainline infantry I can't be the be the only one questioning this, why is it seriously so expensive 280mp for a rifle with 28mp reinforce 200mp for a RE with a 25 reinforce. I propose a discussion, should USF maineline be cheaper, should it's performance go down to compensate or should we keep the same price yet increase some vet...I'd like some thoughts. TLDR: USF bleeds more than it should for cost of its mainline, should it be reduced or should performance be increased. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Brits in 1v1 is a joke24 Oct 2019, 14:06 PM Just to throw in my 2 cents, I think brits are trash mostly in part to their lack of indirect and their slow mid game that makes them hard to carry to the late. Quick thoughts/feelings/pls don't rake me over the fires... Rifle sections - better since the buff they got from the hot fix. Vikers HMG - still kills models too quick to suppress in my opinion. UC -in a good spot. Sappers - in a good spot with AT nade AEC - needs to fall more in line with Puma's role AT gun- is fine Comewell - is alright, could use a moving accuracy buff, anecdotal feels more like the t-34 accuracy. Centar - in comparison to the new and improved Ostwind this thing is trash vs tanks/meds but fits the AI role well. Firefly - Give or take, I'd rather have this unit preform better since its so specific but give it a higher cost (see jackson). Churchill - In a good spot ~ still hands out a fair amount of free vet to AT guns due to low armor and just being slow. Comet - Should get a range buff TLDR: They rly just need the indirect with a few tweaks in the current meta Again just my feelings. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Soviet tanks are garbage11 Oct 2019, 15:20 PM I think the only problem I have is half the time the t-34(both 76&85) shoots, the shell simply just dumps out the end of the barrel not only blowing up in front of the tank and looking stupid but also never connecting a shot half the time. Its rly jarring and looks stupid unless Petrov forgot to put a powder charge in the gun. Pretty sure other tanks such as the Cromwell also have this problem but this is most likely due to bad RNG rolls. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Fallschirmjäger is very OP!17 Sep 2019, 01:22 AM It doesn't take a rocket science to realize this unit is over preforming. Maybe not at vet 1 but its XP gain allows it unit to excel to max 5 in a matter of mins. This unit is broken simple as that. In: COH2 Balance
