By the way, why is it that when I put a bridge over land instead of water, I check the impass and although the bridge is clearly not in the way, nothing can pass under it? |
Very Nice!! |
I feel like this is a strange personal question for some reason lol, why are my trench walls pink? I put down a spline, trenchwall_l_01... and its pink? I have noticed some other objects are pink as well...Why? How do I fix this? Or change it to match my dirt?
Thank You!

That tutorial is unfortunately outdated, due to modding support being disabled.
By default Company of Heroes 2 Installation folder is in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes 2
OH ok. Well thank you anyway! Do you think they will ever enable again? |
[size=4]Maybe someone can help me? I have been trying to figure out where (on my PC) do I find the "Company of Heroes 2 Installation folder"? I am trying to follow the Tutorial: How to: Using template images in Worldbuilder. But I don't know where the Company of Heroes 2 Installation folder is, so I cant even get started lol.
So basically I am lost, Ive been looking in Steam\SteamApps\...etc... but I cant find any "Company of Heros 2 INSTALLATION FOLDER?
Thank You for ANY help you could give me!!!

From what i remember you should be able to hold 'r' when the object is selected and use the blue/red lines to rotate it around that axis. I found this quite difficult as the space where your mouse needed to be was very small, so I generally left things as they are. You should also be able to use 'h' to raise/lower the object to make it suit your map height.
I have a feeling I have seen a tutorial somewhere on this site for object placement, editing object states and rotating/heights of object however I cant seem to find it at the moment
Ok great Thank you! I will look around for that tut. |
If anyone can help me I would very much appreciate it! I cannot for the life of me find any info on how to spin/rotate objects from different axis. I know you can rotate an object 360* horizontally, but I am trying to rotate an object using the other axis'. Example, If I want something to follow the slope in the terrain and contour the land, etc...
Thank You!

This link has a tutorial they made for CoH1 and how to add waterfalls. I never used the CoH1 worldbuilder, but from the screenshots it doesn't appear they were able to have the same vertical drop effect, so I'm not sure if this is only something that can be done in 2 and not 1. But this is where I got the idea from originally.
Man that looks great! Thank You! |
Is there a way to make a waterfall in WB? |
I was unsuccessful when I tried some time ago. There is a limit.
That's what I was afraid of... Thanks! |
