I won some random games with emplacements spam, they were boring but i wanted to try something new. Where i need comunication, again?
If anything, axis need superior communciation to counter most basic things. Like maximspam. Or hardcore sim cites. Or even, dare i say, rifleblobs of doom. They need okw players without t3 commiting to stukas, they need stug spammers, they need obers, they need jagdtigers/elefants for a lategame. All at once. In random games.
Meanwhile look at allies. Rocket arty? No prob, all 3 faction have good rocket arty options. Infantry? Well, okw blobs of doom can become problem (after surviving and outplaying rifle blobs of doom), but then there is many options to deal with them, much more than axis have, from demos to said rocket artillery to tanks (sherman smoke on blob and crush it, lol or just abuse that op croc). Panthers your problem? Spam FFs and jacksons. Jagdtigers and elefants? Well, here you need coordination, no BS. But its deep lategame, which axis should never achieve at the first place.
Idk, mb i play other game but axis far more limited in strategic options which work and need far better coordination to achieve anything. Just look at commanders, lol. Every allied commander released was op. Pershing? Op. Calliope? Op. Emplacements? Op. Matress? Op. Every single one of them, think about it.
Meanwhile where is good axis commanders? They are the stock ones, lol.

Allies were completely overpowered last patch to the point where it was impossible to lose with them as long as you try, amount of mistakes they forgive was no less than astronomical. Idk about axis this one, but allies still have their superior rocket arty (while werfer was nerfed hard), so i dont see a problem with blobs in 4v4. In: COH2 Balance |

Builds are map/opponent/allies dependent, there is lots of common core things tho, but i am too lazy to write them all. I recommend watching good replays or even top games in-game, they highlight meta very well and help to improve overall game understanding in terms of what when and where to expect and how to fight it. Why it matter? Equiping 2 brens on IS is suicide, they will drop them sooner or later. And when it happens brit player can quit game coz jli or obers with picked up bren can solo whole british army. I think it highlights important issue of IS being worse than engineers in late game due to stupidity with their weapons slots, which now, when vet is fixed and infantry late game balance plays huge role just straight out kills brit faction. I doubt they have enough resources to make it proper game. Anyway, knowing optimization and amount of bugs STALKER had on launch i rather wait a year after release before considering playing it. Wish them luck tho, first game was great. In: Other Games |

OKW needs vet revamp, their infantry in late game absolutely insane, nothing short of tanks (they shred m20s, lol) can fight vet5 obers. And tanks sometimes not an option. Obers should be powerfull, no BS, but in current state they absolute terminators. In: COH2 Balance |
