Thread: AI won't build structures.28 Apr 2014, 21:42 PM Nevermind guys... The AI does actually build structures, they are just really slow in the beginning. I usually quit the matches with AI after 5 minutes due to lack of activity within their bases. I tried waiting a bit longer and voila! structures were appearing on both sides. My assumption was that AI start building immediately when the game starts but they were just kind of slow, maybe because I set them to easy. Either way, the issue has been resolved. Thread: AI won't build structures.28 Apr 2014, 10:57 AM Hi! I've created a 2v2 and everything works just fine... except for the AI. The AI only spawns basic infantry units from the HQ and then go out to capture points and so forth as a AI should. But it will not build any structures for some reason. The map works just fine when I play with my friends, we are all able to build structures and wage armies at one another. I've tried to fix the isue myself and have googled the problem several times but no solution has ever been found. Please someone help me for the love of map-making. Thanks in advance. But sadly it did not work, the only thing that happened when i tried your solution was that the texture changed, but it was stil above the other textures from my stamp. I did however find a solution that seems to work quite well, all I did was to erase the base texture on the new map by using the erase button/tool on the tile section. In: Mapping Discussion
Thread: Problem regarding textures after using stamp tool (HELP!)19 Apr 2014, 08:49 AM I've been working on a map for quite a long ime now. My issue started when i realised that the non-playable area was to small, so i created a new bigger map and I stamped everything from the old map to the new one. Everything that I stamped worked quite well except the terrain textures. The starting "grass_base" texture on the new map seem to have replaced or been added above on some of my textures from the stamp. Since I cant delete the starting texture because it's locked, I can't figure out any way to fix this except erasing the textures from majority of the map and repaint it again. Here is what I mean: This is how the textures look on the original file: And this is how they look after I stamped the map to new one: Not sure if it is clear enough but as you can see, the starting grass texture on the new map has somehow been placed above the textures from my stamp.
