They argued that the elephant was specifically made vulnerable to this kind of unit so that the Allied factions had a chance late game. B4 is so impotent right now it makes Penals look useful. When was that stated? Back then pquemsieh said shocks in m3 counter pio spam? Makes a lot of sense to counter elephants with since Jäger Armour hard counters howitzers. B4 was abused when it could one shot any tank without warning. I'm glad those times are over,now it one shots mediums still with direct shots, but at gun wall is simply more cost efficient and doesn't force you in a doctrine. In: COH2 Balance

And you want the TANK to win? Only because its more expensive? Its like saying water should not counter fire because fire is harder to get? Strategist? It's speed and ability to easily crush infantry units extends it's utility being capable dealing with infantry just as good as medium tanks. Whenever I use this unit I accumulate a lot of infantry kills. It's not comparable with real tank destroyers like Jp4 and Su85,since those can not deal with infantry. If use the m10 merely as a tank destroyer and not additionally as a excellent counter harassing unit you do something severely wrong. Without that crush feature I would agree with both of you. Thread: Panzer 4 penetration.3 Nov 2015, 11:07 AM Like most other players I use P4s to deal with allies infantry rather than with allies tanks since you have tank destroyers and At guns for that job. And when thinking about the AI role the P4 is clearly over priced in that sector, being easily outperformed by sherman (due HE Shells) and by cromwells (due high speed crush). P4 vs Shermans vs Cromwell is rather a RNG fest, unless it's the P4 okw, so you could say they perform on the same level against each other. I think it would be ok to decrease to costs of P4 to Sherman/Cromwell level, while reducing the P4 OKW version by 10 fuel, to show its superiority over Cromwell/Sherman. In: Lobby

It just needs longer to wipe squad, but it still forces retreats, but at least doesn't wipe on retreat anymore. It's also very good in counter harassing so I personally don't see the issue, especially when using an Ostwind even after the Centaur nerf, the Centaur still does a better job in its dedicated role. After a month of abusing ISG spam to win, many OKW players are just going back to their real rank position. But building Obers and combining and microing them with Volks and sturms? Too hard, if it doesn't work in a blob that requires too much micro! Majority of Ostheer players can't do anything else than gren spam or ostruppen spam or pzgren spam, same at top150 2vs2 or top50 4vs4. Mixing them, using their combined force? noooo too hard!!! too much micro skill requirement. Ostheer is probably the faction providing the most variety but you never see it in game. There is always the need of spamming one unit and whining in the fora if this unit isn't enough OP. If its so easy to win with OKW & OST in 2vs2 then please go ahead, get a TOP place after playing 10 games with those factions in that mode, since you haven't done that yet, because this thread is about 2vs2 balance. Nobody cares for 4vs4 ranks as they are easy to achieve. OKW/Ostheer winrates were in the same state before the ISG nerf on top, its not like the plummet, they stay they way they were/are. Thread: Matchmaking Pickle3 Nov 2015, 10:26 AM Play at least 10 games in your preferred game mode. Matchmaking doesn't work properly before that. Also prestige means nothing, I've seen players with full prestige that played like complete noobs because they wasted their time playing the same faction in 3vs3 exclusively. You can run Celo, so that you see the ranks of your opponents, so they don't intimidate you with their stars. In: Lobby
