Only notable discrepancy in tier cost, is T1. Which balances out when all tiers are built, in total. Largely an indirect result of Ost T0 being basically entirely useless as opposed to Cons building from Sov T0.

Aside from that, there are three fundamental non-cost/buildtime discrepancies.
-Onfield time for Pios while Battlephasing (which ranges from roughly 30s to 50s)
-ATnade/Molotov upgrade (arguablyna result of free Oorah and Merge)
-The spread of units in respective tier buildings.

Otherwise the cost/buildtimes of tiers are quite equal.



Ok. So half price seems to be alright.


The "cheap backtech" would be a small change with big impact, nao pls Relic do it!1!!!111!

So, according to these inofficial patchnotes, Relic has gone for a buildtime reduction for T1 and T2.

Nope. Because a lot of changes in the betas they've had haven't made it into the live patches.

But, it is good news that they are testing something along these lines, as it indicates they agree with the core versatility problem, for both sides.

Starting Resources:

Increased by 240 MP for both factions


Special Rifle Command:

Build time from 160s to 80s

Support Weapon Kampaneye:

Build time from 200s to 100s

​We currently felt that the current build time of these buildings were way too long and the overall feel was off with the build times of these. This overall help with creating more diversity in Soviet strategy


So the buildtime reduction is now in. Have to test it yet.

Does plenty to diversify Sov tech. Just means more Gren spam for Ost to try and counteract that until Osts rigid tech can get armor.

Sov tech was already laterally diverse due to infantry call-ins.
Now he can tech diversly AND call-in diversly, whereas Ost just has Grens to rely on.
(NOTE: Im talking vanilla Commanders, not 0CP DLC Commanders)

Also, the buildtime reduction reverses the earky onfield presence situation.
Its now Sov who has their CE onfield not only at start while Ost builds T1, but Sov retains that time even when building T1or T2, whereas Ost used to get that back during BP1.

Its now Sov with the onfield time and capping advantage.

Hello to more early Sov in garrisons that Ost cant remove with RNades and has to bring Pio Flamers around to remove, which are catrgorically less effective vs Sov 6mans than Sov flamers where vs Ost 4mans to begin with.
