Didn't you used to work for Relic? This very much reminds me of the kind of forward thinking ideas we used to see from them with Soviet Industry and Elite Troops. Tremendous stuff!

The Soviets have interesting defenses, but again, everything depends on new models which will not.

- Casemate artillery DOT-4 model 1939 . 45-mm tank gun 20-K, coaxial with a DS-39 machine gun on a casemate carriage, equipped with a KT-1 optical sight

Casemate artillery L-17 model 1940. The 76-mm tank gun L-11 (from the early T-34) on a casemate gun mount with a KT-4 optical sight. Since this is a short-barreled gun she could be a stationary Stug E

Reinforcement with 122 mm A-19 howitzer-cannon

We already have Soviet defense, it's better to bring in line current one, than make another defense doctrine. IMHO it's better use the new one as rework for current doctrine.

1)The ability to build bunkers -OK + tank traps
2) Heavy land mines (like rigel mines, or m20 car mines) + light AI mines (from current defense doctrine)
3) Sappers can collect resources from a downed vehicle - we had the same ability in AT hunter doctrine and it never was popular. Much better IMO - 'Deep defense' -passive ability, engeeners lay mines and barbwire more faster and don't get extra damage from fire when make repair or mining. Cons could lay mines too, don't get extra damage while building.
4) Heavy tank guns (like pak 43? ) + M-42 light ATG - OK
5) Ability to set mines on points - if it will be democharge, than it will not work, because stealth was removed from it. - IMO "More mines" - regular TM-35 mines cost cheaper, like 15 Muni.
