I dont know if guys planned that, but will be cool to see in coh2.

maybe use the Davis Cup Tennis format

4 players per country - 3 games ( 2 games on 1v1 format and 1 game on 2v2 format)

I thought of a format like this already. Only difference is, is that I figured it would be better to use for clanbattles instead of nations. A format with nations would be difficoult to manage (Who chooses the players for a nation is just 1 of the issues).

Easy to solve. A tournament! and then the 4 semifinalists represents the country

Yeah, you try hosting a tournament for every single country

I like this format. Posted this weeks ago when the site was still in beta. If we'd use it, then it would be for clanfights most likely

you can make a preliminary tournament with various nations teams, example:

US1
US2
US3
UK1
UK2
BR1
BR2
GER1
FRA1
AUS1
NKO1 (north korea ofc)

and the list go on

the best national team in this preliminary round from each country, will be able to participate as the "official national team" in nations cup.

with a nations cup, yous guys from coh2.org can attract isolated communities from other countrys and envolve the coh2 community arround coh and this site.

You don't need to have a preliminary tourney. You can just have people choose groups on their own based on nationality and end up with multiple teams per country. Trying to choose the top 3 or 4 players for each country is too hard, and a bit silly to be honest, although I know the select few who are hoping they fit into that category will tend to disagree.
