Hi there
i would like to get into streamin, nothing fancy but, just to put some more streams out there.
i am a mouse to the edge kinda guy, and am kinda worried about having to adapt to using the arrow keys to move around on the map, i am using the classic keyboard setup, and i would very much like to avoid having to use ASWD?
what are my options?

You can play normally. OBS will capture your game source video, you can play fullscreen as normal. If you want to play windowed mode, there are autohotkey scripts available to lock your mouse in the window. More info here:

Hey Ami
i think i got it to work, after streaming a full game with black screen and sound only
what about bitrate? i understand it should be a balance between my own ISP and what speed people can recieve.. currently i got it set to 2000
i got a 30/30 optic isp atm, soon to be 50/50
i am streaming in a down scale from native screen resolution 1080 to 720p 30frames, i dont see a need to stream more than 30fps?
any other pointers? or comments

30fps is crazy high. It will be very smooth for those that can receive it, but like you said, all viewers may not be able to handle that. 25fps is as high as I would go currently.
2000 is a good choice for bitrate.
Best thing to do now is just ask your viewers how it looks, and make adjustments accordingly.

so ive settled for 30fps and 3000bitrate, it looks really good in-game, ive even made a snazzy chat box, for in-between games hehe
i had wuff look at the stream at a bitrate of 2500, and it ran fine, so i tried 3000, it runs smooth as silk
Ami i am not ignoring you, but with the few viewers ive had, none has complained yet, so il keep theese settings for the time being,
so recap.
game is run in native 1080p, downscaled on the stream to 720p
bit rate 3000
fps 30
