Spawning units in a building

I am currently spawning a couple AI friendly squads into a building with enemies surrounding it, however, every time they spawn, they immediately vacate the building and retreat. Any ideas on how to force the squads to remain in the building? I'm currently using a scenario pack in mod builder.

Have you disabled the friendly ai? If you want to keep it enabled by default, you have to lock the units to make sure it cant control them.

I have not. How do I do that? They are also not fighting back against the enemy AI for some reason.

You could lock just the squad or squads using AI_LockSquad or AI_LockSquads.
