2. Best AT gun in the game.

4. Strong inf that beat all Axis t0 t1 infantry.

Plus it's not like PIV can crush like a Cromwell

All of these things have been nerfed in recent patches and aren't true anymore.

Though I totally agree, as I said earlier, that if these things were still around then Brits make sense as a faction, even without a snare.

At the moment they have the worst of both worlds, and I don't think the solution is to turn them into another copy of OST or SOV but just to revert a few of these nerfs.

Buffing other parts of the UKF, while a potential solution to their current low performance in 1v1, is beyond the scope of this thread. This thread and it’s associated poll are intended to gather feedback from the community on whether or not a basic snare should be added to the UKF and how to best do so if that is the consensus.

My personal opinion is that adding a snare is less likely to have major second and third order of effects in other parts of the game balance when compared to simply buffing various UKF units. For example, buffing the Cromwell or firefly to make up for having no snare could make those units OP in the late game, while snares provide utility early on and don’t have the potential of becoming game breakingly OP in either team games or late game.
