Valve never release sales figures for steam games so we will never know.

These numbers could be inaccurate.

Retail is at roughly 80,000 copies sold, with the majority sold in Europe, the game continues to sell 2,000 retail copies a week.

In retail sales the game has already outsold VCOH by 60,000 copies but not the anthology edition.

We generally don't give out numbers, though I believe some were mentioned during a SEGA shareholders call a month or two ago.

It's sold well. Steam makes up the bulk of our sales. We also consider CoH 2 a game that's not just going to live or die on its first month of sales (which were strong). Like the original we expect the fanbase to grow over time as we add more content and features.

There are still more players playing CoH than there were the first few months that it launched and we are working towards the same thing with CoH 2.

So there are hopes for a CoH 3?... ;)
I saw on a site that THQ was going bankrupt :(

That's kind of old news, they've been bankrupt for quite a while now. That's why CoH2 got delayed, and why it's published by SEGA instead of THQ.

Sorry bad wording on my part, read in an article on a site that SEGA will sue THQ...not sure why but it appeared that they didn't sold enough, tended to believe that because there are fewer strategy players and fewer strategy games coming out(this year were that game with the Cold War,forgot it's name,a game with dragons, don't know the name of that either and CoH 2) :(

I've seen ladder position in the high 90.000s. Surely there must be more than 100.000 registered copies? Or is it inflated? :/

i remember seeing an article that says the game sold 400,000 copies and when i saw the picture of the leaderboards before the leaderboards were out, it says that 385,000 people are in the leaderboards.
