At Grenade / Panzferfaust Challenge

As we all know, because At Grenades and Panzerfaust has a 100% success of hitting it's target once the animation is activated, let's try and capture the furthest thrown At Grenade or Panzerfaust by backing up a vehicle and the unit once the animation as started.

I had a faust fired on the bottom half of kholdny in the hedgerow area hit a tree and explode ineffectually as the m3 backed around enough corners at full speed. Its possible it took soem damage without engine damage modifier but it was a cool moment.
Interesting that weapons NOT automatically hitting is a "cool" moment

Permanently BannedApparently the Faust can be dodged if you get an obstacle between yourself and the shooter. The projectile impacts on that.
Nades, however, go over/through anything and will follow forever.

I had a faust fail by hitting the bigger hedgerow by the left base entrance on Semoskiy. Maybe it needs to be a the kind of hedgerow only heavy tanks can crush.

Not fail because they didn't penetrate but because the vehicle was too far or blocked by an object.
Once the animation starts, no matter how far you are, the at nade or panzerfaust will find it's target, whether it penetrates or not that's another story.

Really? It sure looks like some of them just drop to the ground and detonate there.
