Any thoughts on how to fight this?

What are you talking about? His chat message? What is it supposed to show and what did he do?

Since puplic cheat accusation is not tolerated, feel free to guess what happened.

So what is the purpose of this thread then? Except publicly accusing him of cheating?

Of course I did. You want to know how to protect yourself from something without saying what it actually was because you are afraid of naming someone a cheater although you post a screenshot with his name in a thread asking about what to do against his cheating.

I can only guess. If it was a "drophack", as in lagging the game and then kicking you, there is nothing you can do except play fair and refrain from kicking. People doing this too often will end up with a bad rating and will get the loss themselves whereas you still get a win.
I've been kicked several times by people already and thought one of them destroyed a nice streak just to see a few minutes after the match that I got the win and he got a loss.

I read this as "it's cool, lets just all move on".

My view differs from that, and thats why I posted this. I also can cover his name, but the issue would be the same. If you are cool with it ok.

thats the downside of peer to peer games. You can't do anything about it yourself, but report him.

However, it is early in the life of this game. This means the trust rating of most people is still quite high. In a few months drophackers will reliably receive a loss for intentional drops.

P.S.
Yes, cover the name please. removed it until then.

*despite decreasing trust rating, any plans on a "wall of shame" or similar?

its like people don't read the picture. just replace cheap for cheat

hey that's a pretty "cheat" move, good thing i got "cheat" moves myself.

player x was kicked.

one cheat accusation is right and another is not. you guess.

Well, now it is two screenshots so it really looks like a "drophack".

I wouldn't interpret that chat too much, I think he really meant cheap: Langres base pin into Ostwind base rush. He then deployed a cheap move himself, lagged the game and kicked 1984.

What's wrong with advancing your forces into someones base. isn't that the point if they left that window open??
