8GB of RAM is not enough for COH2?

While the swap and RAM usage reached to 8GB, my CPU start driving crazy to 100% usage, render the rig useless and unable to continue playing, that's extremely annoying

Is it the only way to solve it by adding to 16 GB RAM?

coh2 is 32bit and can't access more than 2GB RAM, so there must be an other process, that is eating your memory.

post a screen shot of task manager showing RelicCoH2.exe using more than 2GB memory and I'll believe you...

.-. i have 8 gb ram 1600 mhz, max settings and 80 fps with fraps (i have an i5 3570 and an hd 7970 ghz ed. sapphire)

For me, coh2 usually use 1,3 Gb RAM, ;)

Once again: CoH2 is a 32bit application, which means that it will crash with an out-of-memory error if it tries to exceed 2GB or 4GB of memory depending on your OS.

When it happens, do you check processes and their memory usage in task manager?

Its not a memory problem, its a software problem. You probably have a virus or something eating up resources.
