I think that it's still 3 hits from most Axis tanks, except Jagdtiger, which will kill it with 2 shots.

Like any non hammer/anvil allied stock vehicle.

sherman, p4, cromwell, t34 all have 640 hp.

tank gun usually deal 160 damage.

hence medium tank are four hit kills

jackson, with 480 hp, is a three hit kill.

the puma, with 400 hp, is still a three hit kill. a 80 hp puma is still a living puma.

and people don't usually put their respond inside of the quote box.

and the flak ht and puma are pretty survivable even into the late game. The smoke is one of the best ability in the game.

Key words being "pretty" and "even". Look, it may work, it may not work. What is apperent, is that an overhaul back to previous design is unlikely and prone to all kinds of potential balance madness. And the community was not stop whining about weak HP jackson for reasons I stated in my previous post (which you ignored).

Option B would be small tweaks to the current jacksons, which may not even be needed.

I would go for option B any time of the day.

Jackson feels fine at the moment.

Could do with an acceleration decrease, but nerfing its range/pen makes USF suffer lategame when bigger tanks are rolling about.

I managed to work around it by spamming /quote at the end of the quote.

(Irony of me fixing stuff with spam is not lost on me.)
