Not just any brit, a brit who likes getting 2 churchills 1 FF and alot of ATs at the back of the tanks.

Jaegar infantry would be pretty good. get a blob of cloaking pschrecks, CAS, and the Jaegar squad. G43s also very good vs brits.

Not so much anything about commander choice but it seems like pwerfers would probably do a pretty good job of wrecking that strategy since they can pretty much delete at guns and Churchills aren’t great for diving things for obvious reasons. Might even work in your favor if he tried to dive with a Churchill.

Sounds like you just need some PaKs. Try PaKs in tandem with a heavy grenadier build with G43s to out cap the brits and win with VPs. He can’t push off PaKs with just AT guns and those tanks without any indirect fire. Add in a few HMG bunkers and MG42s to suppress the tommies from rushing your PaKs and Grens.
Really, the answer to any problem as Wher is either more PaKs, more MG42s or more mortars. They’re a support weapon heavy faction and can solve most poroblems with the correct use of them.

You don't even need to pick a commander to beat Brits lol! You have a T0 MG42, T1 sniper and mortar, which is way way more than the sorry Brits get, there is literally nothing else you need to easily defeat the Brits.

Strange because except if gren have magicaly been upped to be able to fight brits they get ass raped everytime before getting an mg 42 upgrade and thus are limited to stationary attacks and struggle during the first minutes of games and before getting vet2(first aid kit isnt really usefull early on. more importantly its not uncommon to see brit cross and open field under grenf ire get to cover then win the engagement.
You don't have to suicide into mg. And the werhmacht mortar do their job nothing more they dont shoot super fast as before. they are anti building and a deterance tool they rarely bleed much mp.

Ugh no they don't. That little budget 4-man sniper sqaud murders the hell out of infantry sections. One rifle grenade and yo're retreating if you're lucky and your sqaud doesn't get wiped. Back before this last patch (worst one they've done to date) Infantry Sections at least were good with double Brens and they could hold their own. Now they don't have any redeaming qualities besides dying slower than Royal Engineers.
The Wehrmacht mortar does its job, yes, the fact that it even exists for OST gives them an advantage over Brits.

brit in green cover can take a nade(losing half health) and still deal enough damages to almost win the engagement(if the green cover doesnt explode of course) fortunately they will still bleed enough mp to not early push too much
the biggest tool you got as werhmacht is sniper and mg, mg are cheapa nd reliable sniper are costly and a bit too easy to kill with an upgraded universale carrier

Allied doctrines exist to partially make up for their deficient and flawed faction design/tech trees. Ostheer is not that way, they have a proper tech tree and unit design and this faction has never received any hard nerfs so you do not need to chose a doctrine to defeat any Allied opponent.

flame halftrack rush should do the trick vs early 5 man IS squad, AEC will be delayed, brit will have an AT gun at best, doubt there will be mines since early muni goes to med upgrade, so you can just wipe squads on retreat.
