MG Bunkers and possibly fox hole MGs(?) are firing well past what their arc of fire shows.

All mgs can target and fire a bit beyond there arc, i would say ~3 in-game meters. How far are you talking for bunkers?

Don't know, It's well beyond the arc that's all that matters.

you have a great cognition for noticing this 3 1/2 years after the release.

Probably has something to do with the influx of bunker spam, just saying.

Arc of fire is shown from middle of bunker, while actual firing range starts from MG position in front of it.

Does this have anything to do with sight? Is something giving sight to the bunker and therefore allowing it to shoot past its normal radius?
You see this a lot in game where you sneak up to a unit and it shoots. You back away and sometimes take two more hits from well outside the cone of the attacker. Somehow it could not see you, but now it can see you at double the distance you just were???
Then again how many times do you see a unit not attacking something. And you go "Hey buddy how about attacking this" and they do not even move but start attacking? #EsportNeverReady
The targeting in this game is a mystery for sure. Any Pros out there got some hints?

The problem comes from the disconnect of the subsystem of the bunker and its UI. While the weapon has its own stats the sight-lines or UI (I assume are tied to the bunker building rather than the gun) is tied to the building. The UI itself is wrong and is always 5 meters off on every side of the pie arc.
TLDR: Imagine the Ark for the gun to originate from the position of the MG, not the bunker. Its a dumb issue that should be fixed but if I recall correctly there was no way around it (I could be wrong and this could also be a bug)
