After a bit more testing I was able to make some more observations regarding the T-pose bug. A panzerfusilier squad in my last test run exhibited this behavior with two models at once. The squad was standing in the open (yellow cover) and upon being fired upon from a Centaur (first burst) the squad dove for cover. Immediately thereafter, two models switched to the T-pose. This bug persists until the affected models are killed, and "fresh" models no longer exhibited the bug.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nXW66TCjno - 16:20 and at 16:50 . It's Penals that had been merged with Conscripts - from what I can see there isn't any explosives or flames attacking them so I don't know if that's 100% the cause.

As Sherlock pointed out already, the title of this post is probably a misnomer since the bug also occurs in the live version of the game. Now that I am looking for that silly pose I see it everywhere. Therefore, it may have nothing to do with the DBP behaviour changes after all.

It happens in live mostly against stg obers when you nuke nade them

I had it today in a 4v4 that we played with Sturmpanther happen with 2 con entities back at base. I've never seen it for cons in the live version.
The other thing I noticed is that the new squad ai seems to quite severely negatively interfere with movement orders. Towards the end of the match cons ran into an ostwind. I wanted to get them out of the way and behind a sight blocker by using oorah. But the units were stuck for 3 or more seconds while I was spamming the move order for them to move away before they actually finally got up and moved.
I guess this is due to the projectiles of the ostwind which are like mini explosions which trigger the dodging and going prone behaviour. The problem is it causes it for the entire squad which then seems to become immobile almost. I'll see if I can replicate the issue.
I can attach the replay if that would help (it's not a good match since we forgot to balance the teams)
