Relic when you finally buff IS-2?

Also IS-2 still got one of the most useless vet ability in the game compared to the ever useful Blitz from Tiger and lots of OH commanders got smoke with Tiger too so keeping a Tiger alive is much easier than keeping IS-2 alive.

Problem with Tiger and probably IS-2 is people are getting too cocky with them, they believe they can use it aggressively when in fact, no you can't. You have an expensive unit you need to babysit, you can't really use it as spearhead since you don't know if what you face will triple pen it or not.

Imo this is why I think the pershing is in far better position than those 2. If the tank has less raw stats, its maneuverability make is much more useful on the battlefield.

On the other hand, you have the King Tiger which let you do all of it because it has a better firepower and good healthpool and armor.

If I had to buff both the tiger and the IS-2 without touching much their actual stats, I would reduce the lifespam required to engine damage them, something like 50/60% health point instead of 75% so you can use them a bit more aggressively without fearing to be fausttodeath just because you get hit once before being faust.

There is exactly 1 ost commander which has smoke and tiger (not counting tiger ace) and that one isn't meta.

Tiger ace is bullshit on a whole other level.

Damage engine on heavys should be around 50% of health.

The only thing that really pains me with the IS 2 is the lack of commanders, vet one ability and it's damage.

If their were more commanders for start you would see it more often. Vet one ability needs to be changed and if it's damage (with the tigers as well) number to 200.

I honestly think it's due to the lack of commanders (not enough variety), that's never going to change.

All heavy armor requires rebalance. Now most of them are useless, because could be easely eliminated/pushed by at guns and medium TD.. except KT and Tiger ase - less or more game changing units.

Considering the Tiger Ace comes with massive downsides, how exactly is it overpowered when the normal Tiger is not? Let's just say it is overpowered, how exactly would that make the normal Tiger at vet3 not overpowered? And at the same time, how would that make the IS-2 at vet3 not overpowered, as most of the veterancy buffs are percentage based (except the ones where the Tiger has an advantage over the IS-2), and thus the IS-2 actually becomes better with vet than the Tiger?

Imo for is-2 problem are accuracy and scatter vs infatry, for tiger all another like armor. Maybe problem are with AT units, thay are to powerful vs them. WE have 3 ways, buff tiger and is-2 (maybe damage budd too coz tiger can be just rushed with middle allies tanks) but up there pop cap or nerf AT units or 3 way that i dont know.

That downside wound't matter much in 1v1 since by the time TA has rampaged through your army there won't be many things left to counter Axis unit, also the no fuel required is pure BS.

Don't start with realism discussions in a Soviet point of view. In this case T34 need to cost 15 Fuel but die from a single shot from every AT there is.

Maybe t-34 dies same like p4, but at least soviet tanks can be run compared to axis tanks.
I dont start with realism, but relic like give axis tanks with less mm more damage, wihtout any reason.
How thay or you can explaine why less mm gun are more powerful ? And why this logic dont work for isu ?

Kinetic can explaine penetretion but not damage, coz even without penetrete crew in tank after 122 or 152 shoot will be dead.

I think if the gun was slightly more accurate it would be more fair. The armor is pretty decent but wont mean a whole lot until we get to test the damage reduction of Heavy TDs.

As it stands now, the IS-2 just kinda hands out vet b/c its so slow that TDs just kinda eat it up.

Just only improve accurate while stationary and better scatter will be enough.
Also improve HE shot aim time, it feel very slow.
