What are some weird t1 openings I can try as Wehrmacht?

In a recent thread I was, at the time, infuriated that I do lose with a level of consistency, within the first 10 minutes of a round, whenever I'm facing an aggressive and well supported Urban-Defense open.

Someone in the thread noted I could do an oddball T1 opening, with 2-4 mortars.

Right I do 2 openings generally
#1 MG/Gren/Gren/Gren
#2 MG/Gren/Mortar/Mortar/Gren (It's not always in that exact order, sometimes it's (MG/Mortar/Gren/Mortar/Gren or a variation of that).

But you know hypothetically, I could try changing up my t1 opening to something totally different from what I'm doing. Particularly when it comes to handling Urban Defense players on city maps.

Can anyone give me some ideas on some different openings I might try with the T1?

It also depends on a fact if you are playing with pre-made team of friends or randoms.

You can even go 3 mortars and a mg42 in pre-made if your OKW friends cover your infantry weaknesses by their superios volks and sturms if the situation is right ofc (eg. soviet player is going to build a forward field HQ).

But if you go 3 mortars and a mg42 with randoms, they´ll look at you with the same eyes and random strangers look at the psycho and maybe even leave the game, with words "I´m not playing with a nOOb, who is spamming mortars"

EDIT: I'm sorry, by some weird reason I forgot about T1 part. But still...

No-Tech-Ass-Mech:

1) Pick Mechanised Assault Doctrine.
2) Do not build tiers.
3) Spam HMGs and AssGrens until 3CP.
4) Throw in some 250 HT PGrens. You can put flamer pios inside for quick anti-garrison anti-greencover duty. Don't forget that you can move your HMGs or suppressed troops out of trouble with 250s.
5) Survive against Light Vehicles/Light Tanks until you hit 6 CP. Upgrade PGrens with Schreks if it feels necessary.
6) Get a couple of Stugees at CP6.
7) Continue this way till you meet the requirements to call in Tiger.
8) Win before allies acquire critical mass of TDs.

I thought the good thing about 4v4 is that you can literally do anything? I've won games doing 4 mg -> OP fuels -> rush T4...

Rush to flame HT, obviously. Meantime try to maximize their bleed.

This is a build I have recently tried:
- Build t1
- gren
- gren
- gren
- gren
- gren
- gren
- gren
- gren
- gren
- gren
- gren
- Spam fausts
- Elephant

In 4v4, I'd reckon at least one would get butthurt by approximatly 7th gren and rage quit. #MVGame

2-3 MGs with OStruppen, skip T1, fast T2 and FHT.
