Why is Rhzev still in 2v2 map pool

This map is gerbage. South spawn wins 90% of the time and its 90% ice

Why are Ettelbrück, Gelsenkirchen, both Moscows, Pripyat Sector, Lisores River and all 1v1/2v2 hybrid maps still in 2v2 map pool either? I feel that a huge purge is necessary to create a map pool with few but decent maps like in CoH1.

+1 to Theodosis. Doesn't help that half the freakin' map pool is so camp-heavy either due to chokepointy goodness or because they're narrow narrow as hell with a crapton of buildings.

So I guess the question is, what are some maps to fill the new pool?

I don't mind the Moscow maps however they do favor the south bottom sides

OMG I loved Einhoven Country! I made a thread like 9 months back asking for this map again. It's one of my favorites. I think most maps should be designed similar to this one with an open side and closed side, wide and not long. Opens up for flank points and keeps the battle going from side to side.

You can ask this question for about every map in the pool.

There is no map where I think "Yeah! This map is really fun, it's going to be a great game!".

It is more like "wow... this map again" or "fuck, why can't I veto all the maps? Why do I even play 2v2? Why do I even play this game anymore".

There's not enough Vetoes to play a decent pool.

And every time I unveto 1 map to add a new one, the unvetoed shitty map shows on the next game.

There are multiple maps in the 2v2 pool that should be removed, most notably Rhzev, Kharkov, Ettlebruck, Lisores River and Pripyat sector.

Yeah, Pripyat sector... totally forgot about that. For competitive matches a map with only 2 VPs in the current camping meta sucks.
