No, and that is dangerous. Reality check. War is life and death. If you cannot meet the standard for the job at hand, you are going to get the people around you killed and put the entirety of missions at risk. If a woman can meet the same standard, I have no problem.

The point of a military unit is not to set a standard that people can meet in order to attain their pseudo-equality status, it's to have a standard that is required in order to fulfill that particular task, regardless of your size, age, race, sexual orientation, or gender. Too many people let their emotions control this issue. Equality comes in opportunity, not outcome.

In the case of Russia defending from invasion, limited options may necessitate drastic measures in which it becomes a matter of survival, sure.

In the military you can cry, despair and lose it all you want... But NEVER on duty. You secure and stow that stuff away for dealing with on your own time, not company time, nor let it interfere with full and satistactory performance of your orders.

You can cry blood, sweat, shit and tears all you want while on a force march with full field gear and 2hrs of sleep in the last 48hrs, but you will NOT stop marching.

They should be allowed in the military, sure. But NOT in direct infantry combat roles.

They have smaller frames, less muscle mass, and less testosterone, and that is an undebatable scientific fact. Good luck to them keeping up with the men while hiking uphill with a full 100+ pound pack.

2) Pregnancy during or right before deployment. \o/

3) When they get assigned to their first unit and get hazed like every other new guy, they will just bitch and moan about "sexism"

4) Put them in barracks with men= sexual assaults. Don't put them in barracks with men and the men won't give a shit about them because they aren't really a part of the group.

5) If women are equal then they should be able to be drafted/conscripted in to combat roles, just like the men are. So just imagine 18-20 year old girl that spent her whole life as a spoiled cheerleader with pink butterfly wallpaper and shit getting drafted in to the infantry. And to make an exception for women being drafted in to combat roles would be an admission that they aren't actually equal.

Your logics works the other way aswell, an 18 to 20 year old boy who was brought up to be a brat will bitch and moan and will be physically inferior due to his upbringing.

I do believe a certain standard should be met for Armed service yes but some people are declaring women are incapable of attaining such a role which i find very close minded.

Well you can find it 'close minded' if you want, but for instance the German Special Forces - The KSK, opened their ranks to women for the last 3 or so years and not a single woman has passed selection.

Though in saying this, although I don't believe women should be in frontline Infantry units, they do shine as Pilots and in other command and support roles. I read a source that said there's a compound in Estrogen that makes women far more resilient to combat stress than men.

Men generally, due to genetic heritage and social upbringing, have better 3D spacial awareness, predisposing them above women as pilots. They also withstand g-forces better.

As to special forces, yes, it will take a quite exceptional women to pass rigorous entry requirements, especially at that level of screening.

As to arguments suggesting that females and males are genetically and physically "equal", the simple, objective and incontrovertible fact that males CANNOT bear children, already in and of itself utterly negates and quashes this argument. Following from this concrete precedent, it is reasonable to conclude that there are things males CAN do (or do better), that females can't, due to this genetic difference and specialisation of sexes.

Females have XX chromosomes, males have XY. This again, utterly and clearly evidences an incontrovertible physical difference between males and females.
