I was wondering, what single tourney-game has had the biggest prizepool?

Dunno why you would ask that here. For as long as I can remember, those tournies had $200 prize pools. There was one tourney where we raised donations which got it up to around $450, but that was soon-after disallowed. There was another tourney shortly after the game came out (back in 2006-2007) that gave away a graphics card, but I can't remember the details.

Was that your question?

For two reasons;
1) Those who arranged, played and won those tourneys now reside here.
2) REforever1911 is now king of the GR General Forum :lol:

Was that your question?

Pretty much, though not quite - I was wondering what was the greatest sum of money won by a single player in a single fight (or best of 3 or 5) in CoH.

$600 for a tournament early in retail. It was some gaming website that sponsored it and to enable live casting they did it on Rails & Metal and deleted the HQs of the allies (who were the casters). This was when you could delete your own HQ. Suprise won the tournament with crocodiles and won the $600.

To date that is the single biggest prize anyone has won for a single tournament in COH.

Sounds like a proper lolfest. A 1v1 on Rails and Metal? Love it.

Gamespot, when it used to be good.

CoH, tournament TV: http://uk.gamespot.com/company-of-heroes/videos/company-of-heroes-tournament-tv-6160651/

THIS was the shoutcast that made me thing, "holy shit, I need to get this game."
