The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

Esports this esports that, who cares. Nobody in this community is a "pro" player anyway. If they were then they wouldn't constantly be complaining about how Aimstrong and DevM show up during tournament season to grab the cash, and then disappear for 6 months. They wouldn't be able to pull that off in a game that has actual professional grade players. COH1 was flourishing when it reached peak balance in 2011 with 10k players. As long as a game is good and it has healthy player base, adding another 100k players or a live tourney event isn't going to make it any better.
