Hello everyone,

i dont know why, but the time around christmas makes me wanna play COH. I have played the first one, but mostly for fun and comp-stomp. I did read som usefull guides at gamereplays.org back in the days, so i am not a total noob, but i really didnt played against human players.

About a year ago, i purchased COH2 and played the campaings. Then i stopped playing after a month or so and now im coming back. But i want to focus on the online aspect of the game. Really for the first time i will stop using PAUSE key and try to keep up with tempo of the game. Found this site, so im going to read the guides here.

But what i really like to do is watching someone commenting a replay. It really picks me up Only thing i miss are videos of someone good actually playing the game. Because .. you know .. you cant really tell what is the player doing with his mouse and keyboard from a replay. And i think its better to learn from an actual gameplay. Does any good player post his matches to youtube, so i can watch them in slow-mo maybe?

You should watch some twitch streams, there's still some top 1v1 players that like to stream occasionally (Helpinghans, Imperialdane & Vonivan for example)
This way unlike replays posted on YT you can actually see what they're doing and learn a bit from it, alternatively Stormless, Tightrope and Helpinghans all have specific tutorials on their YT channels aimed at teaching 1v1 basics/tricks.

If your are specifically interested to see games from the players perspective you can of course check out the twitch casters on the frontpage. I guess the highest ranking player that streams frequently these days is HelpingHans. He also has a youtube channel with games from his perspective and a lot of video guides in his "Tip of the Week" series.

To play coh2 need a good experience, so when some things will be go wrong its will be okey.

I have a problem with replays from the British Fronts Tournament (which was played with the last patch i guess) and i dont know where to post this so ..

- downloaded this replay to \Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 2\playback
- after starting the game, there was no such replay to view
- after restarting the game, the replay was there
- loaded it, right after start, the game told me about a sync-error
- i was able to see only the engineers/pioneers the whole game and only what they did in the match - no other units
- so i downloaded this replay
- it wont show up in the game after several restarts

I dont know what is wrong. The game version at the replay download page says "3.0.0.21627". My game version is "4.0.0.21627" (at least the properties of the game .exe file shows that) .. any clues?
