REC files cant be played ANY HELP!!!

I cant use any player to play back replays????

To play rec file, boot up CoH2 and click replays. If you want to upload on YouTube or something, then record the replay while watching it in the desired format using some software recording tool.
You cannot play rec files with players like vlc, etc.

All the replay file contains is player data, chat data, data of all orders issued during the game with timestamps and rng seed. This allows the file to be small (it consists of no sounds, videos and so on) and gives you opportunity to watch parts of the game you didn't see before, for example you can watch a match from opponents perspective. The downside is you have to watch the replay using game client and it hase to be of exactly the same version as the one that recorded it.
