Picked this up on the steam WB publisher sale weekend for a tenner and I'm getting my money's worth! I love the Batmobile combat, the detailed city, the character models, the story, and the side missions and challenges. It's nice to play it after it's been out for a year cause I'm not experiencing any glitches or bugs on PC at 1440p. This game makes me really want a better CPU/GPU.

Nice to see some of your highscores in the challenges. RedBeard and Sepharim are frickin' masters of this game. I've managed to beat a few of your scores. If you log in again, have a look :D So what do you all think of this game?

Here's a screenshot to shake your memory

I picked it up myself, my potato can't run it but since I'm saving for a new PC for later this year, costing me $5k AUD (3.8k USD) I'll be able to experience the batman series :D

Best arkham game IMO, must have played through it like 6-7 times. It does bring my i5 2500/970 to their knees though!

Spent quite a lot of time modifying the game settings file and now have a quite stable version now.

It got a lot of flak for performance and rightly so but I picked up after they took it off sale for £4 still a bargain at that price.

Makes you wonder at what batman games they could release in the future, the free-roam formula is incredible. I think they'll let people forget about the problems with AK and release a similar game in a few years, without the performance issues it would have been the best Arkham game hands down and everyone would love it.

One of my favourite game series, and this last installment isn't disappointing! Granted, it took some effort to get the game working properly at install, but now it runs like a dream.

I'll be looking out for your combat challenge scores, Ami!

Mono, you set the bar pretty high. As soon as your scores started posting, I knew you were a good fighter. My combat is my weakest link. I'm best in the Batmobile dodging and killing drones, pretty good at driving, but pretty shitty at fighting. I just spent many hours working on my game tho. I found that remapping some keys really helped me (you gotta make sure your 3rd-5th fingers aren't overworked).

Tag, you're it!

Have not played it, but did watch some LP's. A lot of people were annoyed by the the tank combat, which I agree did not feel terribly Batman. But overall, the game was very impressive, well written, well voice-acted, and pretty.

I actually think that it was more authentically Batman than most of the movies.

Well, i enjoyed the game. But.

Batmobile, batmobile, batmobile, batmobile, batmobile. I don't hate the car of batman. But no decent boss in this game.

Only Batmobile boss. So batmobile again.

The story is the best of four. The duality Batman/Joker is very nice. Many easter eggs from the comics. Very nice cinematics.

And finally a true DARK story.

A very nice batmobil... uh game sorry.
