Best commanders for Brits 1v1?

Hi everybody,

i have some supply drops that i want to spend on commanders for Brits because i want to play with them more.
I have the 3 vanilla ones and i got via (old) war spoils the special weapons regiment commander.

Which ones from the rest do you recommend for 1v1?

What Obersoldat said, also Special Weapons is a nice commander to have in a 1v1 since you can keep on the move, and you will want to be on the move in a 1v1. No need to research the weapon racks even, just make sure to keep your Weapons Half-track alive.

Other than that, perhaps Advanced Emplacements if you think you can win the game by huddling in somewhere on the map and bombing the shit out of other guy.

Royal Artillery, Royal Engineers and Vanguard are more team orientated commanders.

As far as Royal Commandos and Tactical Support goes, I really haven't played them much but for the cost, Commandos are not really worth it, and the Air Operations doesn't really help if the guy isn't dumb and has concentrated a lot of stuff at one place, I've never used Tactical Support.

But yeah, if you wanna use Commandos, either Vanguard or Assault Regiment, but you'll be better off with Assault Regiment as it's a bit of a hassle to save up 540 Man power for a glider which you can't even repair and it's very, very fragile, I've had it land incorrectly most of the times wasting 540MP on just the officer unit than having it correctly land to use as a forward retreat point and be able to produce units from it.
