I just bought the Brits, this is my 12th game with them (10th was against Luvnest, of all people).

Game on Semoisky Winter, lots of back and forth.

Opponent went Lightning War, spammed Relief Infantry. Hilarious game to play. I lost with him under 100 VPs.

I dropped too many squads (unit preservation issues).

Anything I could have done better, please advise.

A mortar pit would have helped. Get two or three vickers and choose a different commander, the one you choose didnt actually offer you any benefits.

What commander would you have chosen instead? Royal Engineers?

Royal Engineers, any croc commander, mattress.
UC was a waste of resources and micro, better get more inf or second AEC.
