how get broken walls with splats ingame?

how can i get the broken wall-parts (in a damaged spline)into the game as i can see in the worldbuilder (with the autogenerated splats and broken parts)?

any ideas?

Not 100% sure what you mean?

Do you what to be able to destroy a section of your wall in the worlbudilder?

If that is the case, let me know and I can give you the step by step on how to do it, or you can just hop in stream and ask and I'll show you in about 30 seconds. :D

Either way is fine for me, just do what is convenient for you.

If you are indeed talking about something like this


  • What you want to do is select your spline that you want to edit
  • Make sure that you have the object variation selected
  • Scroll down the tool options on the left until you get to the "Current" tab
  • Inside that tab you have an option called "EditState"
  • This will open a "Object States" window, inside this you have 5 buttons, you want to select "Add"
    [*}This will open up another window "Add State Command", open the drop down box and select "Wall Destroy" (this option might not exist depending on your object spline, but it most likely does)
  • After all this it should do what is shown on the image above


If you are wondering how to get a mid section like that destroyed use the "Sub Selection" command right next to "Edit State" and select what sub section you want to edit.

thx for answer, the problem is not the state and the wall destroy, this works fine.

in your picture you have splats (in the broken part) but they only are in WB not ingame. my question is how is it possible to show these automaticly generated splats ingame.


at this time i have fixed it with normal manualy placed splats. (if you have a empty map and place only one wall like in your picture you can show the used splats in the splats tool (green selected like used)) and add them manualy...

i think this is the only way?

It should auto generate for you, you can refresh spawned on the tool options, this will remove them but they will appear in game.

autogenerate only in wb. not shown up in game.. cant reproduce, are you shure?

What are your graphics settings ingame? World builder shows I believe maximum settings ingame. If you aren't at max it may simply not be showing it due to low(er than max) settings.

Are they just not there? If that is the case can you send me the .sgb file of the map so I can take a look at what you are seeing?

the 2 splats are not there (ingame) i can fix it with 2 handplaced slpats ;)
