The Ost pak gets a stun round, given it's already the best AT gun in the game and Ost's other very potent AT options and reliable snares, does the gun really need such a powerful stun ability? I feel that it might have been fine when we only had the Soviets but now we have USF with its very low HP tanks, it might need to be tweaked. Possibly to main gun disabled for a short time.

disable gun for a short time? well thats just a crappy waste of munitions since it can drive away, this ability was removed from stugs cuz it could chase its targets and 1v1 tanks easily, PAK's cant chase and take down its opponents, ability is fine

It does given the lack of mobility and it serves as a punisher for overly aggressive tank play.

My apologies for the misleading question.

My problem is that as USF vs Ost you need to be aggressive to kill the sniper, so you use inf in the early game (massive bleed normally), mid game light vehicles (which often don't get the job done) and then you use tanks which get stunned and destroyed. Maybe its fair to punish aggressive tank play but it seems like the pak stun with a sniper leads to a slow and frustrating defeat almost everytime vs equivalent players.

Eh, it's acceptable on the Pak40. The full stun effect was plain ridiculousness on StuG Gs, but Pak 40s' greater vulnerability prevent it from being the brainless problem "Get 2 StuG Gs, get vet 1, TWP any medium tank that dares show it face to death" was.

If they want to nerf Pak40 TWP, bring it back to when the shot goes to the current location of the target so it takes more timing and skill to use.

Precisely what i mean, the weaker USF tanks cant survive this ability, and you have to be aggressive with USF to stand a chance of winning the late game.

Another fair weather argument. Things don't always go to plan, sometimes you have no choice but to be aggressive and that the pak shot. But its a long stun time and I think you can work it to be a double shot as well (quick reload) but i'm not sure about that.

Lel, double all allied at guns damage from 160 to 320. Do some scouting and don't drive your tanks right into allied at guns arc of fire?

Guards' button - too OP, nerf if*
Target Weak Point - fine.


*Guards button could be countered by smoke, Guards did not inflict damage, you had to combine few different units to make full use of button while Pak40 simply stuns and snipes itself.
