Should Relic employ professional people for vital roles?

Permanently BannedBut that is about it. Game design requires helluva expertise and years of experinece otherwise you mess it up so bad that no one could fix it. The new trend which has been followed by relic is quite worrying, first starting the Preview mod, then 'Listening' to 'pros' and finally firing their enthusiastic balance dude and looking through the community created content for inspiration, instead of investing a little money and fixing trivial issues!
Your thoughts?

Nothing new.

Such as balance supervision and design? Community created content are great, some modders go out of their way to fix iportant issues which have been ignored by the devs, to implement the changes and designs desired by the community, etc.

+1 but just go with the flow mate. Player count is going down and this game will die in a year or two (max). And by die I mean very very very few players playing this game.

True. The majority of CoH2 fans play OKW, and that is why the playerbase enjoyed a massive boost in numbers after relic removed the resource penalty.
But after they released the USF/UKF paytowin DLCs the playerbase shrinked to 4000 players online. Sounds like a good business plan? Losing more than half of your customers in less than 3 months.

According to the graph the player base was already shrinking to around 9k in end of September 2015, and it is still about the same today. Where do you find the 4k number? dont just draw the low numbers from when it is midnight of working day in America/Europe, that I believe, is where the majority of player base located.

This thread is endless negativity of players whining because CoH2 isn't exactly what they dream it to be /thread
Thats actually what all the balance forums are about

Community-created content is by definition not professional. There are no professional CoH2 players. Relic employs professionals. Professional programmers, professional game developers, professional game designers. This thread doesn't make any sense.
what is defenition of professional.
