Crazy idea about SU-85 and T34s problem

Will try to be short.
Current situation is:
1) SU-85 overpowered compared to Panzer 4 for it's price because:
2) T34-76 and T34-85 are underpowered compared to Panzer 4 .
My following proposal based on my subjective point of view. It can be different to yours, or developer's.

I think that the game should be balanced at all stages. Both sides should not have advantage in early/mid/late game. They should be different, and play different, but both viable.

So, my proposals are:
1) We need to balance T-34/76 against Panzer 4 - so for equal price both sides can stand a chance. For example if you want to leave ram in game, you can nerf T34 even more, but make it cost less, or simply rework ram and buff T34 to stand a chance for it's price.
2) Remove SU-85 from the game. And... replace it with SU-100 - dedicated HEAVY tank destroyer that should be balanced AROUND PANTHER, TIGERS, ELEFANTS, AND COST MUCH MORE THEN SU-85, so it will not hit the field at the same time and price as P4.

WHAT WILL WE GET FROM IT?

* With balanced T-34 and P4 (that means they will have same chance for equal price) we will have balanced mid game tank battles without SU-85.
* Late game will be balanced around mobile, fast German armor against slow, static long range dedicated SU-100.

Everyone are happy.

P.S.

Please, don't discuss detail about balancing tanks (there are plenty of threads for it).
Lets discuss 2 general ideas: Balancing P4 with T34 for cost/effect.. And replacing SU85 with SU100 which should be balanced around Panthers and Tigers and see a field at the same time.

Agree and i made similar post in other topic - i just think there is no need to swap su85 with other tank - just make this tank more expensive. Totally agree.

how about.. no first problem su-85 and t-34, as you are aware of comes from two diff buildings the russian T3, has no TD tank in T3 while the german T3 does if they made the p4 and t-34 equal well thats cute you still got a stug to deal with, and they arent bad at taking down t-34s and they get a stun shot at vet 1 then there is the suggestion of removing the su-85 and putting in a su-100 which is actually the same just with a much longer barrel(for better tank destruction ofcourse) and have it come around panthers and tigers? well firstly that wont happend it will probably come later because as you know you gotta invest 90 fuel to get your t4 and thats not something your just gonna be able to do very easy when your Non TD t3 has to face off against Normal armor and TD armor from the german T3. sure you got your AT gun IF you ofcourse went t2 and not t1 personally dont like this idea and would rather see some balance changes to the armor and in all honestly right now id rather have the infantry balance sorted. anyway this is just my thought of this i mean no harm, but i do agree that the t-34 is rather bad right now

Building a tank just for ram.

Why have a gun?

SU-85 started production in 1943, around 2050 were made
SU-100 started production in July 1944, before war end around 1000 SU-100 were produced

Removing SU-85 from game is kinda fail idea, i could understand SU-100 as a doctrinal unit but not as a non-doctrinal

T34 Ram ability should be removed because it breaks balance, instead there should be overdrive ability for T34's

They could also just remove the gun and engine criticals from the ram and make it stun both tanks for 5 seconds or so for 30 munitions or so.
That way they'd still have the stupid ram ability that looks like the Roadrunner kind of acceleration depicted in Warner Brothers' cartoons but it would have a much smaller impact on balance and it'd still be useful to allow another tank or AT gun to get a few good shots in.

Adding SU-100 for doctrine would make things exciting! More destruction is always a good thing :D
