Does anyone elese remember playing £40 for a ps1 game ?
Over the past 10 years we have seen massive price increases in food, petrol and many other every day items. My question is have game prices rose equal with general inflation and why?

Game development costs have risen much more than game prices for AAA games.

i remember when i was a kid paying £40 for a new game, and today i still usually pay £40 for a new game, comp2 was my first game that was £70 for all the competitive content, a 75% increase, i wonder is a general price increase for AA+ titles to be expeceted in future?

I think anywhere you look, game prices have actually fallen in real terms.
