I'm disabling the Shoutbox because I suspect it being the reason for the site to be slow right now.
It should be back soon enough, at least it gives me more room to work on the server.

I don't understand the updating logic tho. It says it updates automatically but it doesn't seem to happen unless you scroll down enough to force it to show older messages, at which point if you scroll up it is actually updated.
Am I doing something wrong? I am using Firefox 64bit (44.0.2), last version afaik.

Large numbers of people (including myself) are finding that the Shoutbox does not automatically update as advertised. I don't know about them, but I'm also running Firefox.

Thanks for the heads up, it's back up. It's a totally unrelated issue that caused it (deleting a thread, which almost never happens), I'll fix that eventually.
