Yeah - obviously the fact that you can and cannot spot HQ buildings through fog of war makes this idea kinda useless.. Nevertheless, we need a random-function

you don't think players being disadvantaged is problem.

I actually don´t think it is a problem - the game is principally set up this way.

You either don't think that having your opponents faction hidden is a disadvantage, or that you don't think players being disadvantaged is problem. Either of which are inherently wrong and make your argument invalid.



No, i don´t think players being disadvantaged is a problem. The game is principally asymmetrical, which of course means, that the advantage tips in the favor of one player instead of the other as the game progresses...

+1 for random! I think one third of my vague posts are in threads like this.
But no hidden faction loads, it doesn't fit into coh2.
You need to know which commanders are going to be picked and such like the classical b4 / stuka stalemate) this game doesn't benefit from scouting only.

In sc2 you don't have tech / gameevolving with commander and offmap choice like this so it should be kept 'fair'.

blabla aside ....random!!!!!!
