I would like to see the return of the Kangaroo Carrier as either a tech unit or commander based unit.It had previously appeared in COH1 and had extremely good overall protection from tanks,while keeping your units safe.

The Kangaroo carrier doesn't need to carry armed soldiers, it already has its own guns:

if it were balanced yes but it wouldn't be easy i don't think also bad stigma would be there which would cause an uproar even if it done okay.
