Just started using Shocktroops (I was not using them until today)

What is your counter ?

Shocktroops, snipers, m3scout cars(if they dont have shreks), htd+ppsh, and flame base weapons.

yes, it comes with the guards combined arms tactics and the conscript support tactics.

Yeah hit the dirt + ppsh beat panzer pretty badly exept if the panzer can get a big nade off they will win.

Short answer: get Maxim machine guns or use vehicles.

1v1 pretty much everything beats them except for vanilla conscripts, mixed arms engagements just depends who has the better micro and unit preservation.

Hit the dirt + ppshes are 50/50. Panzergrens can win with bundle grenades and if they start getting vet and killing your conscripts on retreat you can easily lose. Getting a sniper or 2 is probably the best bet if he goes heavy panzergrenadiers. Watch your flanks and don't neglect your AT.

if conscripts are supported by flamers, they win.

Snipers give the most headaches, as they chip away 45 manpower very quickly.

Shock troopers are the hammer solution.

Penal Battalions with flamers are also great vs PG's and G43-grens.

Indeed. Flamer weapons deal AOE damage, and Pgrens tend to be bunched up (because they are always on the move). The only problem with flamers, is that the units holding them are usually very fragile.

Supported though, they are amazing.
