Is useless.

Close air support could shut it down easy. I mean, what was relic thingking when they made artillery so flimsy? Less than 250 muni you could DESTROY (not decrew, mind you)a 600 MP B-4 (But hey, it's not like the overnerfed piece of junk ever hits anything anyway).

Katyusha: Much slower firing than a Panzerwerfer, but much more scatter, less life and NO AP whatsoever.

Thoughts?

Katyusha is well-balanced imo. it is deadly but allows players to react and run away after the first volley. panzerwerfer on the other hand, is kinda op.

ML-20 is a good unit, but the presence of CAS negates the use of it. It is kinda sad really. CAS + Jagdtiger/ELefant is such a deadly cobination

Yeah CAS dive bomb needs a serious nerf. Instead of destroying the piece it should just decrew and wipe half of the life.

Katyusha should be example of balance. Relic need to nerf Wefer to Katy level, not buff Katy to Werfer level.

it's fine that dive bomb wrecks howies but it's bad that it's so easy. Just recon and dive bomb. And how many doctrines haves such combination? Luftwaffe, CAS, Jaeger. No skills required to do such thing. On the other hand only 1 SU doctrine has IL + recon. Most of the time you need to use mortarts, snipers or huge push to get to leFH or Pak43 to use IL-2.

ML-20 is a great unit, since you can shell the enemy base constantly if you manage to gain VET 2 for it and it can wipe squads with lucky hits if the :hansRNG: favours you, but you need to protect it very well since you cant heal the gun crew to save the veterancy (Unless you have a forward HQ next to it), but you can use merge to keep it manned to full strength at all times

As for the STUKA BOMBING STRIKE, CAS is not that common in 1vs1´s anymore, so you might get lucky if the enemy lacks in offmap strikes to take your howitzer out, since the ML 20 can withstand barrages from Panzerwerfers quite well, and taking out Ostheer Healing bunker is a good target for the howitzer since you will be fighting versus wounded squads if you manage to take it out

It's been said before but an easy fix would be to give the ML-20 and all other on-map arty pieces the same "can't be destroyed while crewed" modifier that team weapons possess. This wouldn't protect arty pieces from all off map strikes (more sustained strikes could kill the crew and then the gun with enough RNG) but would protect on-map arty from the biggest offenders (IL and Stuka Bomb). After taking a hit from those abilities the gun would survive but it would still loose all vet and would become vulnerable to any sort of direct or indirect fire followup afterward that could then permanently destroy the uncrewed gun.

Also, while we're on the topic of arty is relic ever going to give the B4 gun popcap? If I'm not mistaken the crew STILL counts for all the popcap on that weapon.
