I'm curious as to whether that might be related to the performance problems. I'm not yet sure if it's possible to do a clean install with that version though.

Last I checked, G-sync fucks up the game something terrible for most people. There were numerous other users who have a G-sync/Nvidia setup, and the game crashes on boot 100% of the time until you disable G-sync for that application.
It used to work... then broke at some point.
Issues like stuttering and intermittent lag seems to be worse as reported by Nvidia users versus AMD cards as well. And ever since launch, AMD cards have given better framerates than equivalent Nvid ones. Everyone ITT who has mentioned the problem so far is Nvidia, it's probably another new issue there.

I have to admit that my previous GForce videocard had far more problems with the game that this one.
Anyway, besides the verifyed fact that Gforce videocards do not like this game in general, since every patch things are going worst, it is clear that it's about optimization. Issue that Lelic is verry vague about. I would even say they wouldn't care to much, since this should be a priority even before balance.
You guys are running at max settings games that require a much better system than COH2. Even my close to obsolete system is capable of running Fallout 4 on medium settings with no problem at all at a high resolution, and on high settings it still manages the game at an acceptable level, but when it comes to coh2.... imput lag, strange colors, etc.
You get a C minus for the poor optimization, Lelic.

Found this on Linux forum version, performance of the game on linux while running in-game benchmark 18 times:
And it seems that the game's performance is decreasing over time (with or without the overlay). After a while you need to restart the game to get back some performance.
Here are the benchmark scores (at auto-detected settings) running for 18 times while monitoring the RAM usage. ( I have 16 GB RAM)

please explain to me why the fuck this is a balance problem
Framerate - Balance. You don't see the match?

Fixed My Problem
After reinstalling with the latest version of Windows 10, and buying 16GB new RAM I still had the same issue.
Long story short, my CPU fan was clogged up with dust and my CPU was overheating big time (nearly 100 degrees celsius). Get RealTemp if you want to check your CPU.
My game now feels responsive in a way it hasn't for ages, even when fps drops. My GPU is still not at 100% utilisation in this game or others, so I think I have an additional issue, but I can run COH2 at around 60fps on highest graphics well into a 4v4 match.

And yeah, I must not forget to say it again:
TERRIBLE OPTIMIZATION LELIC.
