Hello all!
B-)
I want discuss with you menu themes of different factions. For example, Sovietssovietssoviets have wallpapers with Moscow, where you can see barricades, smoke,, abandoned buildings and ruins, and Wehrmachtostheerostheer has there ruins of the Berlin... So, people, you are playing in the game about War. And war that is bad thing. This game gives us clear vision of it. Oberkommando Westokwokw also has ruins of city. And that is city in Western Germany, I think. City with factories.`
But USAusfusf theme is more positive. So, States have Ardenes forest on the background, it seems because of their operations there. SO, its like honor of fallen troops. Yes, its also about war. But much more positive.
And Britishbritsbrits theme... Well, I really dont know what we can see there. Is it British landscape??? Or no? And what does it means? Just patriotic?)) Or something else?

the British menu background is just German landscape

I don't think there was a whole lot of thinking involved with these backgrounds, tbh

British theme is rolling their armors and airplanes over Europe. Much like what they are doing in game.

Ah, okay! Yes, Its like that. So, seems its nice. But I thought could be also nice to see landscapes of this faction and how it was touched by the war... Maybe London after V1 strikes... And in USA theme maybe any city on the eastern coast with departure of military forces (picking up tanks and troops intro ships) to the Europe (on war).

It's the UI that gives you the lag really, the menu theme is just an added annoyance.
The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

Im plating game on medium settings lol. all is fine. sometimes lagging but just sometimes.

Background videos cap menus at 30 fps, if you remove them you will have 60 fps at menu.

fe_intro_loop.webm Main menu

fe_online.webm gamemode select

flag_aef.webm usf

Delete them in order to have better fps, or you can replace them with your own stuff too.

The background music and pictures are nice but they cause lag. Personally my favourite is the soviet/ostheer theme.
