no they should add key remapping first
As long as we can use autohotkey in coh2 there is no need for it.
I would appreciate some work on engine though, especially main menu and first launch of tactical map.

Why buy a console when you can just emulate everything, getting TOR and running Linux so the gov't can't catch you?
Why create the internet? There are other ways to share information, you know.
It should take minimal effort to remap keys. Minimal. That we have to use AHK is an affront to the consumer.
This is about convenience. Having to use AHK is retarded, and shows that Relic is retarded for not putting basic, necessary functionality into their game.

But seriously, on my old lap top, I could handle really beatiful games in high, yet CoH2 was running on the lowest.
Currently with new hardware it's quite good but still, freezes sometimes can decide about the entire game.

I don't really mind having to run the game on low graphics settings, but the micro-stutters and bugsplats in this game are horrendous.
An optimization patch would be very welcome.

The number of games I have lost to thirty seconds of freezes, two seconds input lag and the menu ui is like hell on earth. DoW on mostly high I get 30fps, I end up with 5fps in this game on lowest on a scaled down resolution.

Permanently BannedRuns CoH2 at 50-60 fps, dips to low 40s after two or three games and becomes unplayable after 5 or so games, requiring a restart.

Well, you are right if you just need to map that pesky numpad0 somewhere else. On the other hand, I will use AHK even if they do implement said features in game as it gives me much more options than just remaping keys to another keys and I have never seen anything more ingame.
It means that from my point of view the feature is not needed and that is the perspective I wanted to share in forums as probably I'm not the only one Also I don't really care if they are acting 'retarded' with me or not as long as playing the game is enjoyable.

On the other side, if you play multiple games in a row, after the 2nd-3rd one your game starts getting small freezes/stuttering so you have to close the game and reopen it (as luvnest pointed out).
We recently had a chance to point these issues out to some Relicans, I hope something will come one day or another since the problem is pretty obvious to notice (but I guess pretty damn hard to fix)

Yeah, game starts with a very good amount of fps just to go down dramatically (as Jesulin example basically you start with 60-70 on a good rig just to see them going down to 20-25 when the game ends, no matter how many units are fielded).

probably splats. that was an issue in dow2 as well.
